On Saturday 3rd September with 27 schools from all over Cork County gathered for a fun refresher course and on Sunday 4th September, Colaiste Muire Meitheal students were commissioned into Meitheal at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mahon in a heart-warming ceremony.
Father Brian Nolan a Redemptorist priest and co-ordinator of the Scala retreat centre and Pa Cotter Meitheal trainer & Co – Ordinator spoke of how Meitheal helps develop leadership and team skills within students.
Teas & refreshments were served at Scalia afterwards for parents’, teachers & students inclusive.
A great weekend was had by all.
