On Tuesday 21st November we celebrated Pres Day. This is the feast of the Presentation of Mary in the Temple. Here are some highlights of our celebrations;
Each day this week we read prayers out during the morning announcements. Thank you to Oscar, Ami, Bridget, Maja and Adam who read out the prayers each day.
Some of our 1st Year students attended 10am Mass in St. Colman’s Cathedral to mark our special day. Thank you to Fr. Gerard Cremin of Cobh Parish for the special welcome.
We also sent Feast Day Greeting Cards to the PBST and Presentation Brothers, signed by some of our students. A lovely gesture to keep the connection with the brothers alive.
Our Staff celebrated with a yummy cake in the staffroom. Thank you to Garvey’s SuperValu for such a tasty treat.
We also displayed some images and prayers to Edmund Rice in our prayer spaces.
A great feast day was had by all!
