Last week we marked Engineer’s Week at Coláiste Muire Cobh with a guest speaker from PM Group who spoke to our students about the role of an Engineer. We were delighted to welcome Engineers from PM Group who spoke to our Transition Year Students. Past Pupil Pa O’ Donoghue along with his colleagues, Ciara and Emma discussed what Engineers do and the different and diverse job roles an engineer can have including civil, biomedical, biosystems, chemical, mmechanical and electronic. They also discussed the many routes that are available to Leaving Certificate students and opened horizons for our Transition year students to a career in Engineering.
