Great win for the U16 Basketball Girls team against Carrignavar. Carrignavar started strongly but Lucy and Laia got the ball rolling for Cobh, Lucy scoring 8, Laia scoring 7, and Lurdes also chipping in with a basket to lead 17-8 after the first quarter. The team settled in to a good rhythm thereafter and continued to extend the lead in the remaining quarters. The girls defended well and adapted to everything Carrignavar threw at them….fantastic teamwork throughout with every player contributing to a great win. Final score 71-32.

Well done to our boys basketball team who had a comprehensive victory over our fellow PBST school, Coláiste Chriost Rí.
