U19 B Boys County Basketball Champions:
U19 won their title against Kinsale Community School in Neptune Stadium. The final score was 48-35. Congratulations to the team and their coach Mr. O’ Connell. They are playing in the All Ireland’s today. Best of luck lads.
Our U16 Hurling Team were in action against Boherbue Comprehensive School recently, unfortunately after a good game and some notable performances from Alex and Jake, our lads lost, 3-10-9-9. Hard luck lads!
Well done to our 1st Year Boys Soccer Team who won their match against Terrence MacSwiney Community College this week. Some notable performances from Eoin, David, Jamie and Borys who all scored during the game, with Eoin scoring a hat-trick in frosty weather conditions. Well done lads!
Cobh GAA Visit: We were thrilled to welcome members of Cobh GAA to Coláiste Muire last week with some of the silverware they won this season.
Pictured below are past pupils Adam, Darragh, George, Conor and Liam, and current students Adam, Sean, Luke, Ethan, James, and Alex. Missing from this picture are Jake and Sam.
The trophies they brought to Coláiste Muire are the East Cork Championship trophy for Football, the Bishop Roche Trophy for the Football League and the U16 Rebel Og Championship in Hurling.
