Congratulations to our U16 Girls Basketball Team and their coach Ms C. Murphy, helped by Ms. Campbell and Ms. Hickey for a wonderful U16B County Final Victory in Neptune yesterday against Coachford College. The team were amazingly resilient – holding on by 2-point margin, despite severe pressure right to the end. The final score was 37-35.
This year has seen a huge increase in sport in our school, with Basketball especially successful, in both girls and boys.
As a school community we would like to acknowledge and say thank you to our coaches who give so much of themselves and to their sports in our school.
