Well done to the 1st Year boys’ basketball team who have qualified for the county final to be played in Neptune Stadium next Thursday, 23 March.
They won a very tense semi-final away to Bantry on Tuesday. It was an excellent game against very strong opponents, but The Col. boys prevailed by the narrowest one-point margin.
It was an outstanding performance by all, but Aidan Carney’s performance (scoring an amazing 25 points!) deserves a special mention.
