On Wednesday 11th October we welcomed Garda Community Liaison Officer, Kevin Dorgan and Detective Pat Hegarty to our school to speak to our Junior Cycle students. The talk was a joint initiative between our Parents Council, our school, and the local Gardaí.
The Gardaí spoke to our students about how all our actions have consequences, how we all represent our families in our community and they also spoke about issues including anti-social behaviour and the posting of images online.
We look forward to welcoming them back for a follow up discussion in the coming months.
