COLAISTE MUIRE – REUNION 2020
The Colaiste Muire Reunion for the class of 2020 is due to take place on Thursday 27th of August at The Vienna Woods Hotel.
All 6th years have been contacted and they would like the event to go ahead.
Following communication with the hotel and other suppliers, it is our intention to go ahead with Reunion, provided that the Governments Roadmap for re-opening the country goes ahead as planned. It allows groups of over 100 to meet from August 10th.
Mr. O’Brien has offered to cover the cost of the staff attending the meal in order to reduce the cost of the reunion for students.
With the current Covid-19 restrictions on public transport, we will not be able to provide buses to or from the hotel.
Bus companies have said they cannot take bookings for August, as they do not know when their normal services will resume.
Students will need to make their own way to and from the hotel.
This also means that students will not be able to go to the LeisurePlex afterwards, as we cannot provide buses at this point.
Parents will need to collect their children from the hotel at 1:30 a.m.
Information regarding payment of the balance will follow in the next few weeks & this will take place in July.
