Congrats to Ms O’Leary’s TY geography class who have gotten involved in Ireland’s GLOBE air quality campaign.
“Over 50 schools from across Ireland will take part in the 4th GLOBE Air Quality campaign of 2020.
The campaign aims at raising awareness and developing a better understanding of air pollution through the collection and analysis of nitrogen dioxide, a traffic-related pollutant.
The Air Quality Campaign is coordinated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce with the support of the Environmental Protection Agency.
TY geography students were hard at work today mounting the Nitrogen Dioxide tube diffusers at different locations around the school.”
