On Tuesday our TY Class of 2023 had their first outing of the year. The visited the West Cork Secret in Kilbrittain. This centre is one of Cork’s leading activity centres offering our students a wide range of activities from go-karting, orienteering, Team Building Games, Assault Courses to their famous Waterslide – that our students and some of our staff braved!
Here are some reflections on the day from our TY Students…
“West cork secret was the most amazing experience to start off my transition year, the highlights of the day would have to be the obstacle courses and mud slide. The team building games got very competitive very quickly!! It was a great way to get to know more people in my year and to start building new friendships!!”
“I really enjoyed the West Cork Secret because it was eventful, and we got to connect with more people in our school and had to work together and everyone that works there was so friendly. I would recommend it too everyone- you are going to get very muddy but be prepared!!!”
A great start to the year for our Transition Year students and a great day was had by all.
