Today is Safer Internet Day (SID). This day is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people.
With a theme once again of “Together for a better internet”, the day will call upon all stakeholders to join together to make the internet a safer and better place for all, and especially for children and young people.
Noting the global reach of the Safer Internet Day campaign, on our school social media channels, you can discover more about the actions of European Safer Internet Centres, global Safer Internet Day Committees, and a range of organisational and industry supporters.
It is promoted in Ireland by the PDST Technology in Education and Webwise.
