The Feast of the Presentation of Our Lady takes place on Sunday 21st November. We are a school in the Presentation Brothers Schools Trust (PBST). Celebrating this day marks our identity as a Gospel community in this tradition. This feast calls on us to reflect on commitment, generosity, and service. Here are some highlights of the celebrations in our school…

1: Prayer Service via Teams Fr. Jim Moore-Diocesan Secretary led our Prayer Service. we keep Fr. Tom Mc Dermott in our thoughts and prayers, and we look forward to welcoming him back in the New Year.  Mr. Buckley spoke about living out the Presentation ethos in his live through his work with the Red Cross. To end our service there was a video message from Br. Martin. Thank you to our staff and students 

2: Lunchtime Treats: Sweet Treats from Wholey Ground in lunchtime staffrooms. 

3: Launching our School Instagram Page: On Sunday/Monday to tie in with Presentation Day we launched our new school social media page. This page will run in conjunction with our school FB/App and Website and share the same content. @colaistemuirecobh if you wish to give it a follow! 

4: Rulers for 1st Year Students: The PBST have given a gift of a ruler, to all our 1st Year students, to welcome them into the PBST Family. These rulers were given out by the RE Dept in RE class. 

5: TY Cards to Brothers in Maiville: TY students wrote greeting cards to the members of the Presentation Brothers living in Maiville, Cork. They were delivered to the Brs over the weekend, and past Principal Br. Bede distributed the cards in Maiville.
