Meitheal at Coláiste Muire
What a year it’s been so far with Meitheal! The year kicked off the Meitheal Team running icebreaker games in the First Year classes with to facilitate everyone getting to know each other better.
First year classes also enjoyed “the Meitheal café” experience where have their lunch together as a smaller group, café style. Homemade cakes and tea were baked and provided by the Meitheal team with café music and projected images all to add to the convivial café ambiance.
The First Year Quiz held in the library and dining assembly was hotly contested. And while the prizes did make for that extra buzz, the event was a great success as excitement ran high as teams brain-stormed together.
Downtime was had at the First Year Christmas Film Show.
And there still so much to look forward to in the year ahead.
· We are currently organising the First Year School Tour.
· We are helping students with a ‘locker re-vamp’.
· & working to making the school a more austistic friendly environment.
Our goal is to make Colaiste Muire a better place. Modelling compassion & kindness!

Meitheal are a student leadership team of eleven students selected to help First Year students transition to Coláiste Muire. These students promote a healthy way of being and connecting. Skills learnt are of enormous benefit for their CV and personal growth.
