Our Junior Camogie team faced St Mary’s Midleton in the Cork Colleges semifinal on Tuesday.
This game was an absolute thriller with the lead being exchanged so many times throughout.
60 minutes of camogie was not enough to separate the teams and so extra time it was. In the final minutes of extra time, Cobh were behind by two points but were awarded a free.
The ball fell short and went into the back of the net and shortly after the final whistle blew. Cobh win by a single point and they are now through to the county final.
