Our U16 Boys contested the Final Vs Gaelcoláiste Carrigaline on a wet, wild and windy Monday afternoon in at Michaels GAA pitch in Mahon.
Conditions meant that this was a game of two halves. Playing with a strong wind, Gaelcoláiste got off to a flying start and opened up a commanding lead.
We battled hard with some brilliant scores by Alex O’M to keep the scoreboard ticking over. We regrouped at half time and scored 3-3 during the opening quarter of the second half, some great scores again by Alex and Gearoid.
We fought back admirably in the second half but we just came up short against a more skilful and stronger Carrigaline team.

Hard luck lads, we go again next year. You all have represented your school so well this year.
