Here are some highlights of this year’s Christmas Season in Coláiste Muire Cobh.
1: Our Entrance Table this month reminds us of the preparation that occurs during the season of Advent. Our wreath and candles represent infinite love, hope, faith, joy, and peace all of which are present in our everyday lives.
2: Coláiste Christmas Tree and our elves who decorated it. Our tree created a wonderful bright welcome every morning in December. Thank you to those who helped Ca and Mrs. Bilginer decorate it.
3: TY Elves Decorate Classrooms-Our TY’s were very busy adding a bit of Festive Cheer to their base classrooms. Well done to Ms. Ormond and her team.
4: Food Drive for Cork Penny Dinners- Our Social Justice and Gaisce Award nominees ran a very successful food drive for Cork Penny Dinners. A special thank you to Rian and Richie who safely delivered the food last week. Thank you to everyone who donated so generously.
5: Christmas Cards to Cobh Hospital-our students Cameron, Molly and Amy, along with Ms. Buckley presented cards to the staff and the residents of Cobh Hospital. Each card contained a Christmas message inside.
