Students placed test tubes to monitor the nitrogen dioxide levels around our school.
The campaign aims at raising awareness and developing a better understanding of air pollution through the collection and analysis of nitrogen dioxide, a traffic-related pollutant.
The Air Quality Campaign is coordinated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce with the support of the Environmental Protection Agency.
TY geography students were hard at work today mounting the Nitrogen Dioxide tube diffusers at different locations around the school.
